Biography

Mr. Muftau Bolanle Jimoh is the Assistant Director of Finance and Head of Finance and Accounts at the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ila-Orangun. A meticulous and experienced finance professional, he boasts a robust career in both the private sector and public health administration. His career is built on a strong foundation in accountancy and financial management, through which he has developed significant expertise in institutional finance, treasury management, budgeting, and compliance.

Professional Journey

Mr. Jimoh began his professional journey after completing his National Youth Service Corps program at the College of Health Technology, Gombe State (2002–2003). He started his career at Tuns International Holdings Ltd, Osogbo, in September 2004 as an Accountant, rising to the position of Head of Accounts by 2007.

He later joined CHI Ltd (a subsidiary of TGI Group) in Lagos as Assistant Manager and Head of Accounts for the Engineering Department (2010–2011). Transitioning to the public health sector in August 2011, he joined the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, Ile-Ife, where he rose to the position of Assistant Director of Finance in 2024. In September 2024, he was seconded by the Honourable Minister of Health and Social Welfare to his current role at FUHSTHI.

His expertise spans financial policy implementation, budget preparation, treasury management, and IPSAS compliance. As Head of Finance and Accounts, his key responsibilities include:

Education & Qualifications

Mr. Jimoh holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ede (2002) and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
