OLOKEDE, Victoria Jesutofunmi is the Head of the Pharmacy Unit at the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ila-Orangun, Osun State, Nigeria. She’s a proactive and motivated Clinical Pharmacist with a passionate and detail-oriented approach to pharmaceutical care and a robust career spanning community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and public health administration, built on a strong academic foundation in pharmacy from the University of Ilorin where she earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from University of Ilorin. She is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and Association of Lady Pharmacists of Nigeria.
Her professional journey began with an Industrial Training at the Osun State University Teaching Hospital followed by an Intern Pharmacist position at the State Hospital Ede, Osun State after which she served as a Corper Pharmacist at Federal University Lokoja Health Services, Kogi State.
Upon completion of her National Youth Service Corps, she served as a Full-time Pharmacist at AKOL Pharmacy and as Superintendent Pharmacist at MAXFAM Pharmacy, Osogbo, before her current role as a Clinical Pharmacist at the Pharmacy Unit of the Federal University of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital, Ila-Orangun
Her professional expertise is demonstrated in areas such as extensive knowledge of medications and their use, detecting and solving drug therapy problems, minimizing medication errors through intense focus and sensitivity to details, patient counseling, drug therapy monitoring, quality assurance in pharmaceutical services and supervision of pharmacy personnel.
